Come as you are.

Dressing Room Confessions brings women together for the honest conversations we’ve been craving, but rarely get to have. About our bodies. Our relationships. Our identities. What we’re leaving behind.

And what we want next.

The Dressing Room Confessions Tour | The Midlife Collective

The Power of Community

Dressing Room Confessions is an intimate live event series bringing women together with experts, storytellers, and each other to talk honestly about midlife.

We talk about perimenopause and menopause, sex and intimacy, relationships and identity, the expectations we’re ready to leave behind, and the lives we want to create next.

Throughout the evening, women are invited into the dressing room to share something they haven’t said out loud, whether it’s a truth, a realization, or a confession.

We call these reflections “After the Mirror.” We’ve found that women come out of these moments feeling like a weight has been lifted and ready to take on the world in a new way.

What began as a 10-city tour in 10 months is becoming something bigger, with more cities, more conversations, and more ways for women everywhere to gather, get real, and keep the conversation going.

We’re just getting started.

After the Mirror

“I’m just so fucking tired of trying so hard to be what the world expects of me.”

– Age 50

“Seeing these cool midlife women own it is the greatest gift. It makes me see it as a second act, rather than the beginning of the end.”

– Age 35

“My mental health fell off a cliff, but it took me a long time to recognize it.”

– Age 51

“Recently I just don’t know if my husband is my person.”

– Age 46

“I’m a yoga teacher and a therapist. I have all the tools, but they’re not working.”

– Age 54

“I know this is stereotypical for this age, but it actually is my neck. I see myself in the mirror and then I move my hand and pull it up like I’m doing right now.

– Age 53

“I recently left my marriage of thirty plus years. For the first time, I chose me over what makes somebody else happy. And that was liberating.”

– Age 62
