FILM SCREENING

The For Worse Premiere

The Midlife Collective hosted an intimate cocktail reception and premiere screening of Amy Landecker’s new comedy For Worse, followed by a Q&A with Amy and co-star Bradley Whitford, moderated by Christine Taylor.

Funny, sharp, and deeply relatable, For Worse follows a newly divorced mother navigating midlife reinvention, desire, and self-discovery after attending a wedding with a much younger date. It’s a modern rom-com about starting over, taking chances, and stepping boldly into your next act.

Melani Sanders, NYC Book Launch

The Official We Do Not Care Club Handbook

The Midlife Collective was in the room for Melani Sanders’ NYC book launch, moderated by Collective member Ricki Lake.

Cameras rolling for Her Second Act, we caught Melani in front of a sold-out Brooklyn crowd and captured the raw, unfiltered shares from her followers. What moved us most was seeing how profoundly her videos and her movement have touched her community of six million midlife women who finally felt seen.

The Wrap

Power Women Summit

“You are not aging out. You are aging into your agency, into your wisdom, into your boundaries, into your voice, into the version of you that no longer bends herself into shapes for other people’s comfort… Being in midlife does not make us irrelevant. It makes us undeniable.”

– Constance Zimmer, Emmy-nominated actress and co-founder of The Midlife Collective

Abby Epstein

Women in Work Summit

“I had to unlearn this expectation of demise. When I was 47 an astrologist told me I’d meet my soulmate at 53 (which I did!) and I was so crushed. I assumed I wouldn’t even have a libido at that age…”

– Abby Epstein, award-winning theater and documentary filmmaker and co-founder of The Midlife Collective (at the NYC Women in Work Summit on a panel with Naomi Watts, Dr. Sharon Malone, and Dr. Heather Hirsch)

FLOW SPACE

Women’s Health Summit LA Fall ‘25

“The most liberating thing about getting older is you have fewer f*@ks to give. I don’t need much from other people. I’m finding it within myself.”

“The most vulnerable and the biggest word that we all have to work through is shame. So many women are carrying around so much shame. That’s what we have to fix.”
